"Ten Commandments" and "Around the World in Eighty Days," which I saw at the local Park Ridge, Illinois theater, The Pickwick, which is now a national historical site for its art deco architecture and interior decor. I saw both on their original release in 1956.
Ah the Pickwick? Another good movie palace; which Im not sure if it still shows movies, was at the Art Institute along Michigan Ave. I saw several good foreign movies there.
Also saw quite a few Action movies at the Chestnut Station.... (unfortunately also saw a shooting/murder there while watching Rumble in the Bronx).

“Due to an experimental vaccine ...”. Yea, great!

The Omega Man:

Due to an experimental vaccine, Doctor Robert Neville is the only survivor of an apocalyptic war, with the exception of a few hundred deformed, nocturnal people who are also homicidal maniacs. They blame science and technology for their condition and they see Neville, as the last symbol of science, therefore he must die. Neville, uses everything at his disposal in an attempt to survive.
