I don't have PAD, so it can't possibly be me. But as someone who has gotten sniped before (other items, obviously), I feel your pain. Especially by such a small amount--how cruel!

But, in the words of Boomhauer from King Of The Hill, there's plenty of fish in the sea. Of course, he mumbled it into utter unintelligibility, and wasn't talking about pipes, but I consider it a valid point nonetheless. YMMV

I was very actively buying wine through an auction site years ago. And got to know the auctioneer well.

I got a call from him one day to let me know that someone “was very determined to get that same bottle and that money was no object to him”. He wanted to know how far was I prepared to go with my bid ?
I tripled my maximum bid and the sucker paid the price
I sincerely hope that bottle was well and truly f….ked !

Am I a sore loser ?
