Smoking some Canvasback Decoy right now. I know that you can get close with some Mcclelland current productions, but man, every single blend I have of theirs is sublime. One of those all day smokes, and I am still sad theyre gone.

Only half are gone.
Four of the blends were simple re-labelings of McClelland standard offerings, and are still available.
Which were which, I don't remember, though.

Yup, looking at my last can of Bufflehead Decoy from 2005 as we speak.

Label lists Shawnee Mission, Kansas as the address.
I've been putting off opening it for a couple years now.

I remember them mostly from the CPCC show and the few NASPC and CORPS shows I attended. I believe they always were in the back right corner of the Mega Center next to McCraine's. They had their table piled high with the canned and tinned blends. I wish I could find a picture, between MaCraine's and Bufflehead it was a sight to see. I would like to collect the 2oz Decoy Series if anyone has any they would like to part with. 8O

I remember paying more to get a duck on the label instead of a whale. Other than that, not so much.
