Just post your complaints to the forum, ha ha! That seems to be what most of our members do.
Me? I would first call the company, then ask to speak to a manager, then if it is not resolved, ask to talk to the manager's supervisor, and if still not resolved, email Russ. He will break knee caps for us... unless we post our complain publicly, or criticize one of his masterpieces. JK, he is about the toughest skinned tobacco artist in the biz. :wink:

I exchanged emails with Russ, but he has been silent for about a week, so I assume he is preoccupied with something else. That is why I only made the issue public now, a week after everything took place

How much $$$ are you out of pocket? If it is less than $100.00, PM me your mailing address and I will send you the $$$ if you agree to never buy from P&C again so I can avoid all the complaining. You must have a lot of time on your hands. I just saved over $100 on my order this morning from P&C. So you really think Russ is going to hold your hand?

No I am not affiliated with P&C. I order primarily from P&C and Smoking Pipes , but there are many other great companies to order from.

If you are not out any money, find a seller who suits you.

So you are out zero dollars. You want Russ to fix your "problem" where you never lost a dime? Seriously, I was just trying to save us all some grief and was sincere in my offer to cover your loss, which is apparently zero.

As best I can figure out he has been unable to order a Pipe Sampler kit, and initially was unable to order samples, which went in and out of stock, and they finally agreed to accommodate him and may have given him a $10.00 credit. So, correct me if I am wrong, got the samples after some hassles, got a $10.00 credit, but was never able to order the Pipe Sampler kit. Zero out of pocket loss, but customer service not good in his experience.

Just another reason not to buy from P&C, just move on to another outlet.
For those of you who gripe about people posting there comments the solution is to just ignore it, you DONT have to open that thread.

Yes, the issue is a horrible CS. Now, to the members who think I'm being a b.... : Perhaps my expectations of CS is too high for your standards. In my opinion, if I'm a business owner, and I have accepted $$ for a product that I do not have in stock or if I'm unable to fulfill for any other reason, I'd wouldn't pretend and lie to a customer, wouldn't pretend that order is already shipped, wouldn't change the order status back to "in process" while saying that shipping department is busy, but the order is about to be shipped. And in the end, especially if I'm the owner of well known store and care about my customers, I would just simply put the kit together, because there isn't lack of any components. That is what I would'be done, but than again, I would have to care about my customers.
