Who Made This Pipe?

I'm hoping somebody will be able to identify the maker of this pipe, and an approximate time frame for which it was made. It's hard to see, but the small dot on the top of them stem is aluminum or at least the same color as the shank.

I had thought that, too, but there's no name on the pipe and the Bryson doesn't have a dot on the stem. I thought I might have been wrong.

Thanks. It's the same dot. That seals it for me. I do wonder why they didn't stamp the company name on the pipe, but at least I'm comfortable as labeling it a Bryson now. Thanks for the help.
