Well I feel stupid, I saw an ad for Plum Pudding Day and thought "pfft how'd that tobacco get its own holiday? What a marketing stunt"
I like plum pudding and about to smoke a pipe…but I’ve been thinking about 965 all week so that’s what I’m about to smoke.I know I am!!!!
With all these doubts, don't try to drive the van.............I'm thinking I start the morning off with Special Reserve and Coffee and end the day with Bourbon Barrel aged and a dram of Eagle Rare. I just can't decide!!!!! - I just realized I need to pick out a pipe as well!!! All the decisions!
Mystery solved! Thanks for posting, @jpmcwjr.Nicely done to slide in on the adverts! -jpm
NATIONAL PLUM PUDDING DAY
Also known as Christmas pudding, National Plum Pudding Day celebrates a traditional holiday dessert. On February 12th, learn about this tasty treat with an interesting history.
Plum pudding is made by steaming or boiling and the pudding is usually served during the holiday season. Interestingly, many of the recipes don’t even contain any plums. One explanation given is that during the 17th century, plums were referred to as raisins or other fruits.
I like that mugI received a 2011 tin of Plum Pudding during the 2021 Secret Santa Exchange. I decided to hold off and open it today, which coincidentally, is also my youngest sons birthday.

It's about the dessert and not the Seattle merchandise.Where is it "National Plum Pudding Day" and who says that it is?
I know. The question stands. Another way to ask it is how does one get a "national day" added to the calendar that you linked to and why should anyone care? It's about the dessert and not the Seattle merchandise.
