As of the 10 AM CDT update from the National Hurricane Center, New Orleans is on the outer edge of the "cone" with the path aimed just to the east of Baton Rouge. I'm about another 30 miles east of New Orleans.

I just want all of you guys living west of New Orleans going over towards Lafayette and Lake Charles to make sure you're prepared.

I thought this said "invented" and clicked wondering who would name a blend that.

So . . . hope anyone affected stays safe during and has no issues after.

Good.
If I'm looking at the NHC information correctly, you are going to get some heavy rain on your side of the storm. Being an old Cajun, I'm sure you are well prepared.
