Who crafts the Davidoff pipes.

Hi there fellow pipe lovers.I bought me a Davidoff pipe today. It's a half bent pot sandblasted. Does anyone know who crafts the pipes for Davidoff? Thanks. Hub.

They are made for Davidoff in St Claude France . But I can't recall who makes them off hand.

The best I could determine is the Cuty Fort Group, a joint venture of Chacom, Jeantet, Lacroix and Vuillard; est. 1987.

The pipe logos website indicates that they're Swiss made, but the names of the Cuty Fort Group members sound French to me

so Uncle may be right. It could be that Davidoff is Swiss, hence the attribution; but they are probably made in St. Claude.

For a small country the Swiss have 4 official languages; French, Italian, German and Romansh. So names can be misleading but I agree with the gentleman that the pipe is probably French.
