That's honestly who I'd feel comfortable going to, but he may be busy. I tried reaching out to him a while back, but no dice.I’d be patient and hold out for George.

Well if it's in good shape and a pat.41, I'd hold out for quality. Don't degrade it with a $20 hack job. That's honestly who I'd feel comfortable going to, but he may be busy. I tried reaching out to him a while back, but no dice.
Briarville? First I've heard of that.but their stems suck and green quickly.
No, I was talking about white spot. Sorry I'm at work. I'm going to give him a shout and see if he can do the dot.Briarville? First I've heard of that.
Oh, okay. All of the Dunhills I've had predate the White Spot. They were prone to oxidation as well if not maintained. No, I was talking about white spot. Sorry I'm at work. I'm going to give him a shout and see if he can do the dot.
I've sent a few Dunhill pipes back to the factory in England and had them make the replacement stems for me. I wanted Dunhill to make the stems and they did a fantastic job on all three pipes I've sent them. Paid by wire bank transfer. Not cheap, but pleasant experience. So, I have a beautiful Dunhill Shell from the 40's, but it needs a new stem. Who can make one, period correct with a dot on it? I know somebody that can make one, but only no dot. If so, can anyone help me with the dot. I know it's just a hole more or less with a plastic stick glued in it.
Yeah. My 50s and 60s ones look great. But I've seen some really bad 80s and 90s ones that look terrible. Very common for that era.Oh, okay. All of the Dunhills I've had predate the White Spot. They were prone to oxidation as well if not maintained.
Pm sent.Howdy.
Sorry I missed the party.
1940s Dunhills are scarce. I'd recommend either doing it right or selling the pipe to a hardcore collector who will.
If it has already been re-stemmed, there could be a lot of "gotcha!" work hiding in the bushes.
Put another way, pics or it didn't happen.
Thank you, but I'd rather not send it over seas. I think George has me when he has more time.cambridgepiperepairs.co.uk
