Which pipe..which tobacco.. fairly common forum thread topic here and just about everywhere else.

I think it's an effective way to spark conversation and garner opinions.

..and for the indecisive op's, a legitimate query.

I liken it to right now I have in front of me 84 new to me micro minerals specimens and going onto Mindat.org to ask which I should put under the microscope first. They would think I was crackers and tell me to just get on with it.
But of course to each his own, if someone needs such guidance then they should indeed seek it out. Myself, I like to make my own decisions.
Regards,
Jay.

Wait, who is a cracker? Ha ha! And, I was just about to ask someone where a good place to eat is.
While not as engaging as what music you are listening to while smoking or what drink you would drink while smoking if you had any money, it is a cameraderie building post of sorts.

My vote is for the Six Pence, and be sure it's not fuzzy. :puffy:
So, when is the voting deadline? Do you not have anything to smoke till we decide for you?

My willl was swayed! Sixpence won the evening, and it was a great smoke. In defense of Jay, he has a very valid point, as I'd never ask someone else what micro mineral to look at first! :P

Tex, glad you were able to make a choice and that it turned out to be a good smoke. As it turned out I decided (without any assistance!) to look at the Anatase and Brookite specimens from Hingston Down Quarry (here in Cornland as Cosmic no doubt well knows) and what marvellous specimens they were too.
It was a toss up twixt those or the Pseudomalachites from Bampfylde Mine but I think I made the right choice in the end :puffy:
Regards,
Jay.

I can only testify to my enduring beloved affair with GLPs Sixpence... it could be my last and only and lovingly perfect desert island bakkie! (Wait! Along with... etc etc etc) Variety is the spice of life, but... SIXPENCE forever!! For some strange reason, I would like to acquire a silver sixpence coin of the realm... if for now other reason than to open the tin.

(Ok, so it's a flip/pull top... leave me alone!)
