Which Pipe for Oriental Mixtures

Dear Smokers, I would like to ask you which pipe you use for Oriental Mixtures. Since I have a mixture of Virginia and Orientals, is it good to smoke it in a pipe dedicated to "natural" tobaccos? I have some pipes dedicated to EM, but I am afraid thaht the smell of Latakia would effect the smoking. Thank you!

I generally smoke my latakia blends in different pipes from the one's I smoke Virginia based blends.

I wouldn't smoke a non lat oriental in a lat pipe, nor would I smoke it in a VaPer pipe. I prefer non lat, oriental forward blends, and have a few pipes set aside just for them.

I have 1 pipe dedicated to straight VAs, 1 dedicated to VAPers, a couple lat...etc...

BUT I have several pipes I use for VA, VAPer, VABur, VA/Oriental - basically non-lat and non aromatic.

Chasingembers makes a good point, IMO. Either confine your smoking experience to a few genres, or dedicate a set of pipes to each genre you dabble in.
As for which pipe to use for Oriental blends, I prefer a wide chamber diameter.

I would only dedicate pipes if I smoked Lakelands aromatics, which I don't. I tolerate any ghosting from Latakia, actually enjoy a slight flavoring until it fades, which is usually by the second bowl, if it repeats at all. I think Oriental blends stand up very well and mostly don't require designating pipes.

I don't smoke a ton of lat-bombs so i really just have a few pipes dedicated to VA's and the rest I'll smoke anything out of. If I smoked aromatics I would dedicate some pipes to those probably but I don't have to worry about that.
