I came to the pipe too late for anything from McClelland, and almost everything from Mac Baren. Like others have said, there are any number of blends that used to be legendary but have fallen from their Olympian heights. But of the ones I have tried, I wish I'd bought WCC Simply Orange when it was around, and I would love to have some Escudo in its pre-Peterson version.

Being a hoarder who has a cellar a mile wide, I still have some of my missed blends.

Also, I was still pretty new when some of these went extinct, so I didn't have the breadth of experience with McClelland, say. So I pine for those that I DID smoke a lot.

Mac Baren Navy Flake. With 5 years on it, it is sublime.
Mac Baren HH ODF.
Mac Baren HH Vintage Syrian
McClelland 5125 Coyote Classic
McClelland Royal Cajun Ebony
Tsuge (Drew Estate) Fujin The Wind God

I'm new to pipe smoking, so there are some that I "miss" in the sense of never having tried:
- I've never tried McClelland blends;
- I've never tried Mac Baren, except for a bowl of ODF, but I have a tin of Burley Flake, 2 of ODF, and a few bowls of other flakes stashed away: I'd like to have tried the legendary Plumcake, though;
- I can't really miss what I've never experienced: I don't know what I don't know, but I'm thankful for the variety we do have.

Tobaccos I've smoked that I'll miss when my supply is gone:
- Kendal No.7 will be top of the list;
- Edgeworth RR Match;
- despite rumors, I hope that Tabac Manil will not fall into this category soon (Vincent is my favorite Belgian!). Reserve du Patron is one of my favorites.
