I know it's not on your list, but if you can find Charing Cross it's another favorite of mine. Doesn't get a lot of talk around here and I'm not sure why. It's really complex.

Quiet Nights is definitely my favorite from that list, though I love ALL of the Old London series by him, with QN, Gaslight, Six Pence, and Meridian out front. Any of his tobaccos that push into Balkan territory are going to be fantastic as he seems to be a Balkan aficionado. Samarra and Abingdon are damned fine in that regard.

Greg has so many bends. I've not had them all despite my administration for Greg. Can't smoke that much...

But these are memorable for me:

Samarra
Abingdon
Key Largo
Haddos (especially with age)
Quiet Nights
Tribute (the ones that survived rust...not anyone's fault)
Stonehenge

Hmm... I love all Pease production, but fresh tins are not really good in my palate. I advise to storing them.
I try a young Telegraph Hill and an other with 15 years. The first one was totaly imbalance with a lot of acidity. But the same tobacco aged is just wonderful. An explosion of fermented fruits with spice.
So Pease young... Mouarg... But old, definitly YES!!!

Yeah it doesn't get the attention I think it deserves. Personally I think it's a great morning smoke.
I always recommend one that is a bit unheralded for some reason, Meridian. Great, great stuff.
I'll add a vote for Meridian . . . It took me about 3 months to really warm up to this one. Once I quit comparing it to Quiet Nights and accepted it for what it is, Meridian jumped into my three (3) favorite English blends.

Others have said Union Square, Telegraph Hill, and Fillmore is good. Quiet Nights and Westminster are must try for me as well.

In Europe, mainly Germany we can only choose from a small list of GLP and C&D tobacco. There are imported by Kohlhase and Kopp and packaged in Germany. There is a larger selection from a Company in Switzerland but it has to go through cutoms and taxes have to be paid making it costly. The prices in Germany are high enough for GLP and C&D. Ranging from 17.90 to I think 22.90 € for two ounces (57gr.).

Curious if KK will start soon to expand the list of tobacco from G.L Pease and Cornell & Diehl available in EU.

Boy, to each his own -- I was very excited to try Meridian, but good grief is it drying in the mouth! I don't mean dry tobacco, I mean the affect in the mouth -- like a very tannic wine. Sometimes I think that another tobacco has no sweetness, but Meridian reminds me that even non-sweet tobaccos have *some* sweetness ... Meridian truly has *none.* The Oriental flavor in it would be tasty if it weren't like licking dry wood! Haha, that's just me though -- I'm glad that others enjoy it so much.
