Which blends have a potential to turn "cigarettey" or "cigarish"?

I have never had anything close to a cigarette experience with my pipe. Not all RYOs are the same. Some of the big bulk bags are actually pipe tobaccos. I used to smoke it quite a bit in the beginning. There are better tobaccos, but it's ok. If it's all I had, I could be happy with it.
But cigars in the pipe are good. It doesn't come close to tasting like a real cigar, but Burley Flake #1 and Semois taste just like cigars to me when smoked in the pipe. I'm not sure what a cigar ghost would be like, but I noticed no residual flavors left in the bowl from any of them. Cigars when you slice them and pack them taste like a Burley s they are. You get most of the flavor from the cigar from it touching your lips.

At one time tobacco was indistinguishable from itself.

Or the even more ambiguous wording on this container. I smoked it in a pipe since it didn't specifically advise how to consume it. Tasted fine.

I do not remember his PA or CH saying anything about cigarettes. Very cool lesson I am learning. I have tried to smoke a cigarette once. It didn't take.

And my first pipe experience, the bag said pipe tobacco, so I just assumed... And yes I know what happens when you assume...Lol

Cigarettes came from our culture becoming more and more hectic, with less time to smoke pipes. So, guys would roll their pipe tobacco. There was no difference between pipe, cigarette, or chewing tobacco. It was just tobacco. What you did with it was your business. Most bag RYO is very good tobacco. Not the same crap as the packaged packs of cigarettes use.

The biggest difference now is that we are all used to moderate to heavily cased tobaccos exclusively for pipes,whether we realize it or not.

and believe me, during the past 10 years,in europe factory cigarettes went so crappy theres no way to smoke nothing but quality Netherlads produced Cigarette tobacco, and period.
