I'm still a "newb" to pipe smoking, and have been smoking mostly aromatics. My tastes are ever-changing, but I have been smoking a lot of HPCS Trout Stream of late.

It has become my favorite so far.

In that order. I have a bunch of other stuff I mix in from time to time. Opened a tin of decade old University Flake that is almost gone in less than a week. Erinmore Flake (Murray's), Pease Triple Play, G&H Bright CR and Brown Flake all make in occasionally.

My cellar is much wider than deep. That being said, over say the past five years, my most often visited series of blends is the Grand Oriental series. Love these. If I had my way, it might just be Bombay Court or Wilderness, or Samarra. I am able to smoke in my home so I do generally refrain from Latakia, if I did,it would be something with lighter to moderate levels of Latakia.

I think the blend I've smoked the most of is 1Q - but that's largely because I bought twice as much of it as any of the other blends I've tried so far. :D

Usually some sort of perfumed VA based blend - whether Lakelands ( Ennerdale, Grousemoor ) or Erinmore Mixture. In the evenings I usually reach for Lancer's Slices or SG Balkan Flake ..... time to turn on the Latakia :D

Right now, depending on the pipe and the day, it's Nightcap, El Rincon #1 or Carter Hall.

I turn to Nightcap or 965 most often. Definitely my go to smokes. In fact, about to fire up some Nightcap shortly.

I have 1Q and the 7 Seas blends jarred up in bulk. Those are what I usually puff on unless I've cracked a tin and am trying to smoke through it.
