In an episode of the Borgias, on Showtime, the Pope received a gift of cigars, something new, from America. He was smoking one when his daughter, the infamous Lucrezia Borgia entered the room. "What are you smoking father, a turd?" "No it is a cigaro?" "O, smells like a turd."
The guy at the b&m gave me a flake of 1792 (from his personal stash), suggesting I give it a go. From reading about it on this forum, I knew to try it on a full stomach (I've never smoked cigarettes).
The good:
-smells great in the bag, kinda barnyard-ish
-burns really well (was pretty dry already)
-nice white ash (does that matter to anyone?)
-dry smoke
-no bite
The bad:
-this is the most horrible tasting tobacco I have yet experienced.
Finally got to try 1792. Folded some up and stuffed it in a cob and went fishing. This stuff was smooth and tasty.Being outside i did not have to many relights cause it was breezy.First bowl great experience. Two days later i came in the house after working splitting wood and having a empty stomach and fired up another bowl of that flake. By the time i finished smoking it up my wife called me and said get ready for supper. when I stood up and walked into the kitchen i got a wave of slight nausea. whoa, If you've never smoked this stuff before be aware the nicotine will kick you ass so have something in the furnace before you burn a bowl of this fine pipe weed.
