smokingstatue, ref. your original post, I think you probably did the right thing as a new pipe smoker.

I think buying 200 pipes at a shot would be over-committment unless you already have a commitment

to restoring pipes. I think, as a pipe smoker, you want to build your own collection, and then see if that

develops into some kind of pipe restoration and sales activity. The pipes you bought look excellent, though

all need restoration. It might be worth having two or three restored by a pro, and work on another, for

starters, to see if that is something you want to do regularly yourself. The restoration will cost you a bit,

but not compared to the quality pipe you will receive back.
