My favorite place to smoke is my "green room" . . . Backyard under a big ole maple tree overlooking the cornfield. During winter or inclement weather, I use my three-car smoking lounge.
My favorite place to smoke is on the porch of my girlfriends house while talking with her. (Unsolicited funny story) : We were smoking on the porch of my house in the early days of me smoking a pipe. I was a total beginner and used a permanent match instead of my trusted zippo lighter with pipe insert which is my practice now that I have a bit more sense. Well I lit my permanent match and the whole thing became a ball of fire. I dropped the infernal inferno onto the porch. My gal Janie calmly kicked it onto the wet grass. Yeah this one's a keeper.
Smoking was always an afterthought for me rather than an event. Anywhere I went I had a lit pipe.
