The difficult part is finding an outfit that will ship it to you.
My state doesn't allow shipping of any tobaccos deemed for multi-use or chewing tobaccos. So, I have to find someone in a state that does, and then pay them to reship it back to me.
What's it like smoked in a pipe? Is it burley based? Strong, medium, mild?
It is a rustica blend. It is the absolute most powerful nicotine I’ve ever smoked, with a strong flavor like a really strong cigar.
I smoke it to put myself to sleep at night, sometimes not being able to get up and drag my ass the several yards from my chair to bed.
My first bowl of it ever was on the back deck after dinner one weekend. I just sort of “came to” in the middle of the night with half the bowl unsmoked, and soaked in rain.
Yup, strong stuff! I still have some of the rope I bought in 2016. Not a big fan of smoking it but it’s a good chaw. I would much rather smoke a Gawith rope.

I have some Mammoth Cave Twist also, but I can’t smoke that one. It has too much chewing tobacco casing for me.

If @chopper can get tobacco into Australia I’m sure you can get it into Florida! Worst case, I see a continental road trip in your future where you lodge at different members places to distribute the boll along to way
We need an enterprising pipesmoker in that area to take some orders and redistribute with a nominal mark up.
That sounds more like opium then rustica. Would you have been fine with surgery being performed on you at the time? If so it might be dilaudid!!
All of the descriptions I've read just say it's burley.
From the little I've sampled of my homegrown, grown right, some straight Burley can be pretty stiff.
Then again I retro and chug straight burley like a fine straight aged virigina cause I love that 'ish.
Funny enough I've always thought the personal chemistry adage was bull. But a bowl of 1792 seems to give more of a nic hit than "Stronger" blends, including lotsa these ropes, including "Rustica" blends. Different strokes and all that.
