Depending on travel restrictions, I’m hoping to add some south African counties and more Middle Eastern to the list later this year.

I'm a US national off a Boeing 747 from Malaysia. I've been to:

Canada
Guyana
Hong Kong (post '97, so can I say I've been to China?)
Jamaica
Japan
Mexico
Singapore
South Korea
Thailand
Trinidad

Big on my bucket list is the southern hemisphere; I've yet to cross the Equator. I've family in Australia who I want to see and I also want to see Europe. India is also high on the list.

Chicago
Puerto Rico (technically a US territory but its a foreign country in every other way)
France - Paris & Grenoble areas
England - London & Brighton
Switzerland - Geneva
Germany if you count the inside of the Frankfurt airport
Canada - Toronto & Montreal (Technically its a foreign country but lets be honest, it's like the USA and we're a warring nation with short tempers and it will be a state(s) one day when we get tired of that silly French speaking business in the east and when we run out of parking space. They'll share their Tim Horton's, the metric system and higher alcohol beer with us and we'll share with them, well, everything else.)

I grew up and still live close enough to Canada that before Covid I would routinely go out to dinner in Windsor, ONT, plus numerous hunting, fishing, camping trips, so probably hundreds of times to our neighbor to the north. Covid cancelled a second trip to Quebec City, but I'll be back there as soon as possible. Any American living close the border took advantage of the Canadian legal drinking age being 19. For me, that was well before 9/11, and the US/Canadian "border" was more of a suggestion than a profound reality. I remember many early morning returns through US customs telling the guards that the unconscious people in the back seat were Americans - "OK....move on"

Went to St. Thomas for our honeymoon nearly 37 years ago. Loved the place. Also been to Aruba. That's it except for a visit to Canada.
Wife and I went to St. John with my brother in 2015. This was the only time I've ever been on a plane but I wanted to go somewhere warm after a significantly cold winter. He asked me what I was looking for and I told him I'd get on a plane if he knew of a spot where it would feel like a remote island. He enjoys his travels and knew exactly where to go, private rental house on the south eastern shore of St. John. Nailed it right on the head with that one.

I especially enjoyed the U.K. The small towns we stayed in were really warm and friendly
I LOVED my trip to England. It is definitely one of my favorite trips, and probably one of a very few countries I could live in, outside of the U.S. I spent most of the trip in London with a few days in Canterbury and Bath. I remember reading guide books before I went (2004) and one talked about how the English people were shy and reserved. I don't know who the hell they ran into over there, but I found them extremely warm and friendly. Every day it seemed like I was making friends with people at pubs and in the neighborhood around my hotel. And I am not a terribly outgoing person in the real world, so it was kind of a nice change of pace.
