I keep my mason jars and tins in rubber maid containers in my man cave aka basement. It's cool and dark down there. I can go down load up a bowl and shoot some pool, darts or ping pong. I just need to get a foosball table one of these days.

Never heard of anyone keeping their smokes in the fridge. I expect it would slow down any natural ageing. Not sure if it would hurt the blend though.
I keep mine in an old record player. Has a nice storage space for where records were supposed to go...

It doesn't play records anymore. Need to fix up the speakers.
One day. One day.

(is there any problem with leaving the tobacco in the baggie?)
As you said, it's in the baggie, which is inside a jar, so you should be fine. Baggies alone are not enough, but leaving the tobacco in a baggie to store shouldn't cause a problem. If the jar starts to smell like plastic, you can always chuck the baggies.
But I don't think that I will actually store the tobacco in the humidor
I woudn't put pipe tobacco in it either. I'd only put cigars in a humidor. The moisture at which you maintain a humidor (after seasoning it) is too high for pipe tobacco, and if you have any english blends, it'll stink up the humidor. (by stink I mean make it smell like latakia which would flavor anything else you ever decide to put in it).
I have a trunk from hobby lobby that I throw all of my tins and jars in.

Mine goes in the bottom shelf of my liqueur cabinet where the glasses and misc stuff is supposed to go. Mason jars fit perfectly in it, tins stacked three high, etc. Who needs space for glasses when you drink alone?
I've only got 1 martini glass, 1 shot glass, 1 collins glass, 1 pint glass, and 1 tumbler.
