Well I am a newbie and I use an old cedar cigar box for my unopened tins and a drawer by the coffee pot!

Coffee is used to sip and enjoy my peterson 03's and Peterson Professor!

For now everything sits in mason jars and ziploc bags on my desk. I get to sit in the garage until spring, then I move to the backyard with the dogs.

I keep my mason jars in the fruit cellar. It is cool in there with little or no heat fluctuation and no condensation. But the coolness might be slowing down the aging process. I think I might be better off keeping my tobacco in a warmer area. When I first heard about cellaring I figured it meant literally putting the jars in the cellar.

While the amount of tobacco in my cellar is minuscule in quantity (maybe 20lbs jarred and no tins), my "cellar" is an antique dresser that was given to me by my great grandmother. I keep my pipes on racks in my curio cabinet.

Well I know it isn't much, but until I move into a bigger house (hopefully this spring/summer) it just sits on my desk.

My cellar is distributed between the kitchen and the livingroom. In the kitchen I have 3 stacks of cases of pints, 12 deep, and in the livingroom I have a half-dozen large boxes in which I received tobacco, holding canisters and tins. And I don't believe my setup is any different in design than that of many other guys; and probably no one has a cellar per se; the word simply means one's personal hoard of tobacco, as much as we can afford, to keep at bay the taxman, illness or nuclear holocaust.
I guess we cellar so that we never run out of the good stuff, come what may:).
