...what do you smoke? In general how do you match your tobacco? To what your drinking or the weather or what your mood etc? I find myself mostly matching the weather. It's warm now so I'm mostly grabbing vapers or sour Orientals.

Not so much to do with the weather, but an earlier sun down means I find myself having an evening smoke. So I generally find myself reaching for change of pace or more special blends to smoke while relaxing.

I usually smoke whatever but if I’m smoking outdoors I definitely avoid strong latakia/kentucky blends on a hot summer day or mild aromatics on a freezing winter day. Indoors it doesn’t matter to me.

The season changes my choice of pipe more than tobacco. The meers go away for the winter and come back with the robins.

I pretty much have a loose set of genres for different times of day/activity the weather doesn’t come into play.

I smoke the same thing—straight burley—in all seasons and weather, but one of the many nice things about burley is that it takes on different flavors and character with even slight changes in setting

Virginias and Vapers all year round. some aromatics year round, especially during the holidays and and sometimes English during cool days in Autumn and outside during the winter.

The weather during the different times of year definitely influence what I feel like smoking. I like aromatics all year round, but generally like the heavier ones during the colder times. Straight VAs and VaPers are often my go to during the summer. Fall weather and spring weather means I'm usually smoking VaBurs, Burleys, and Orientals. I only smoke outside, so wintertime smokes are rarer, what with the snow and all. But when I can sneak one in, there's nothing like an English/Balkan in the cold, especially on a full stomach.

Of course, these are not hard and fast rules, nor are they rules at all. These are just the trends I have noticed in my 3+ years of smoking a pipe.
