This might be the first pipe I don't actually smoke. It's all cleaned and ready to go, but I'm hesitant to fire it up. We'll see. Maybe some day after one too many Bushmills...

Never say never. Finally got around to firing this thing up. Smoking some well aged Brown Irish X (seemed appropriate). Happy to say the pipe smokes great -- for a turn-of-the-century pipe, it's got a nice, easy draw. My first smoke in a bog oak/morta pipe, too -- seems to bring out some brighter flavors in this old rope. More so than briar, anyways.
