Haha my eyes haven't melted yet! I have been doing 130 degrees for 30 minutes and some day 135. If you can work your way up to 140 degrees you really get great cardio without moving a muscle. Plus I hate cold and spend as much time in the FIR sauna and hotub as I can until those nice 100 degree days roll back around. I was working out like crazy and eating what most people would consider pretty healthy and losing a little weight. When I stopped eating all wheat (wife too) I also stopped working out dropped 30 pounds and I can't seem to gain it back no matter how much I gorge. Then I read a book called Wheat Belly and wished I would have tried it decades ago. Oh well hard to believe unless you try it.

Hi Guys,

I am with Lawrence, "No more New Years resolutions" was my last resolution about 25 years ago. Never seemed to take hold ! I did make one about 15 years ago to kick the coffin-nail addiction on the day after New Years (2nd) and it actually took hold. Should have done that (make resolutions after the start of the new year as well as quit coffin-nails) long before.

Well I am prepping for a 40 mile hike on the appalachian trail for the last week of February. So I am getting in shape and training for that. So my resolution is to lose some weight and be as fit as possible for the hike

I'm making mine easy this year; I'm going to smoke more, drink more, and eat more. That may be a resolution I can finally keep

Ditto...also:

I want to spend a bunch of time with my kids and grandchildren. Continue to let my wife know how special she is to me. I need to lose a bunch of weight through diet and exercise. This means lifting weights, which I hate.

I will also squirrel away a bunch of my favorite tobaccos and increase my pipe collection another 10 pipes (at least). Need a new pipe rack!

The only resolution I have ever kept was the resolve not to make any more resolutions. I tend to set 10 goals for the coming year.. I will work on them New Years eve, write them down and then it's just a case of checking them as I go
