Just found out wife gotta work New Years Eve Day and New Years Day so i guess i'm gonna kick back on the computer and have a few bowls of assorted baccy's. Not a bad way to spend New Years Eve, all things considered.

Well i want to continue to update my photographic site.So nothing new, simply i have to work harder with pictures.A lot of byrds ,butterflies,flowers,landscapes etc. needs to be photographed,so i will do ,that's my plain for the 2012 and guess isn't a little thing

One thing's for sure, this Las Vegan is avoiding the Strip at all costs. I New Year Eve'd down at the Strip once, and learned the true meaning of "Once in a lifetime experience". Way too many drunk people down there for me. I'll probably just hangout at the house as usual.

While i would agree with you.....i work at a casino and it will be mayhem on New Years..mainly because i am a member of the casino's Environmental Engineering crew which is just a fancy way of saying janitorial staff. At first i had New Years Eve/Day off work but they switched my days off at the last minute..

Helga and I will be at home where I will smoke one of my pipes and she will work on her computer designing

some signs and banners for St Paddy's day. I think I will have a special on Guinness stout this year.

Rabbit and squirrel hunt that morning, with the evening spent at home possibly playing WoW. New years day will be spent eating black eyed peas and hog jowl, Rabbit, fried taters, and corn bread. That night....lots of Zantac and some bowls of Bald Headed teacher lol

Staying home, out of trouble, my hellraisin' days have passed. Still enjoy drinking, just don't care for the hangovers.

The wife has heard me talk about the Band of Brothers series for many years but has never watched it, so we are going to try and squeeze it in all in one day.

Now that is a World War 2 story that has no parallel. That is a damn fine series and worth every single second of screen time. Have fun with it. As for me, I too, apparently like many people here on the forum, have to work. I get out just in time to ring in the new year, and that night is hopefully going to see my first ever bowl of Irish Flake to ring in the New Year.
