Haunted Bookshop for sure. It’s been this way for over a year and I don’t expect it to change. I love this blend for the nutty sweetness, occasional sour finish, etc. it’s easy to pack, light, & keep ?. It simply does it and that’s what we’re all looking for right?!

Sometimes MaxwellHouse, sometimes Folgers. Mrs Cosmic sometimes brings home some of the more expensive stuff, but really…. meh.
It’s funny, when coffee freaks come over, I’ve heard them rave over my coffee wanting to know where the bean came from…. Raving about this or that flavor note, “must be Ethiopian” “not arabaca” “something exquisite”. “It’s so deliscious” “do you roast then yourself?”
Then they feel all stupid when I tell them.
I’ll spend my money on more important things like tobacco and wines.

I used to think I had a favorite blend or blends with coffee in the morning but if I'm completely honest, I don't. All my favorite blends are great with my morning black coffee. If I had to be more specific though, I do prefer something with a little backbone. Not too strong but nicotine in the morning is good.

I really enjoy a sweet aromatic with strong coffee.
Been drinking a lot of fresh ground 8 O’Clock lately. ? I also scoop from the blue can often and Kirkland Beans are surprisingly delicious. ️?

Even though I've never considered Haunted Bookshop a favorite of mine, the big bowl I had this morning with my coffee did hit the spot nicely.Haunted Bookshop for sure. Okay, okay, a specific blend particularly good with morning black coffee would be Royal Yacht. I don't care what anyone says...

I usually smoke a Virginia or VaPer with morning coffee - I find C&D Yorktown to be a particularly good companion to coffee. I could see Royal Yacht fitting that bill as well, as mentioned above.
I seem to like a vaper with a higher perique content. My taste buds need help waking up, I guess. Lighter flavors are lost on me in the morning.
Tobacco! Always tobacco. Never any of that other stuff.
that makes sense to me as I love a deep dark cup of rich joe (not starbucks junk) paired with something sweet.
I do not smoke a pipe with coffee in the morning..Smoke a pipe later in the day and for me it does not matter what tobacco I smoke -just the one I want to smoke that day..
Although I tend to avoid more full bodied tobacco before midday, I’ve been told a really bold cigar is actually fantastic as your first smoke, as it literally kicks your taste buds into action!!!!!
I do enjoy Rattrays Marlin Flake in the morning (I really need to invest in more tins).
Almost always Early Morning Pipe or Presbyterian. I usually just alternate each day. One is a bit sweeter the other has a bit more sour- both are light and in my opinion excellent with coffe (or anytime).
interesting - i never tried a gar in the morning - well maybe at 11am or so when I am doing some mid-day fishing. I have only had a bowl on a couple occasions so far with my morning coffee and it was nice. One was Syokkebye Nougat and the other just straight Lane BCA
