Usually a cigar, hard to clench for 2 hours on a zero turn mower. But I have some clench-friendly basket pipes for cuttin hay. During those times I usually go for a bulk VA. Something like Yorktown, Three Friars, 515, something in that realm.

Sutliff Burley Delight 212. Sold in bulk at a reasonable price and it's actually quite good. Another good choice is Low Country Natural Va/Bur. It goes for 20 bucks a pound and is surprisingly good. I use MM Diplomats. The bowl is larger than a Legend and the lacquer finish wipes clean.
To ask me to smoke and walk at the same time is hoping for the impossible.
Codger blends for me (SWR & PA as primary). But, he’ll, they are my primaries for most tasks and days. The “fancier” types are mostly used by me as occasional “parfait” toppings on the top of a codger blend anyway.
I haven't mowed a lawn since the 90's. Wife said the lawn looks like the yard markers on a football field after I finished mowing, so I sat back and watched her do the mowing smoking some OTC blend with a cold brew. Now we're both too old to mow the lawn so we hired a company to do it. I still sit back with an OTC and a cold brew and watch them.

Paid my way through college working for a landscape maintenance company. I swore when I made it big I'd never mow a yard again. So big I am by my own definition and I smoke anything at hand while watching the lawn crew do my bidding.
Haven't cut grass for fifty years, but if I were to now, it'd be a riding mower and I would smoke Margate in a half bent Peterson.
Years ago we bought our property which was a big overgrown mess with not a lot of lawn and a bunch of box elders that I promptly got rid of. I wanted a big yard. After 17 years of mowing a lawn that takes over an hour on a 60 inch zero turn, I long for the days of no mowing. I seldom smoke on my mower since it requires both hands.
Well, anything but a cob! And no calabashes or meers because I like them too much.

I can’t let my grass grow that long because the feral cats sneak up and munch on song birds at the feeder. My neighbor cuts his grass as short as a golf green and it turns brown. He got arrested for DWI driving down the center of the road to the gas station. The V & T law classify a ride on as a motor vehicle .

I smoke whatever is in my pipe at that moment... But I have a landscaping company do the mowing and all the rest of the grounds.
I pretty much always smoke a pipe while I mow (push mower), and it’s always just whatever blend I currently have on-hand. I’m pretty sure my neighbors all laugh at me. I see them smiling as they drive by and wave. I guess I do appear like a bundle of inconsistencies: I smoke a pipe (an old thing) while mowing with an electric mower (a new thing).
Kentucky Blue and Fescue mostly but a lot of broadleaf weeds as well. I smoke carter hall though.
I may be weird, but I don't like smoking the pipe while doing other activities. Guess I just don't multi-task very well. I don't even like smoking it while I'm out for a walk. My preference for pipe smoking is sitting on the patio and puffing on it while I contemplate life. I might have some music going in the background, but that's about the only distraction I can handle while smoking.
