Going way back to 1972, America had a song titled A Horse With No Name. For the longest time I thought that the chorus lyric began:
I've been through the desert
On a horse that was lame...

Then there was Ride Captain Ride by the group Blues Image. Since I did not particularly care for that song, whenever it was played on the radio I always sang the first verse as:
