Having lived in Wisconsin, Alabama, California and South Carolina(as well as being born in Texas) I have to say that fall and winter with all that comes with them are my favorites. You must understand that winter here is akin to fall up north and I dearly miss the snow of my youth. My wife and children are all native South Carolinians and they gripe about the heat but are in no hurry to move. I still smoke on the porch in summer but it is nowhere near as enjoyable as cool weather and campfires. Early mornings with a cup of coffee are the best I can do during the dog days. During the fall, smoking a bowl LNF while carving the first of many pumpkins is the ideal!
