The HH series will be my first real loss as a pipe smoker.Old Dark Fired, or anything else from the HH series by MacBaren.
This is my first real loss, too. I had a pipe during the McClelland years, but I didn't know anything besides bulk Lane until after McC closed their doors. Atlanta has three hundred cigar shops, and it's always been hard to find a tin.The HH series will be my first real loss as a pipe smoker.
I think STG canned Russ. I looked him up on LinkedIn and he’s “open to work” which usually means someone is out of a job. Pretty sad what STG is doing. They get rid of Per & Russ to cram Cap Black and SWR dosed with vinegar down our throats.WhiteKnight and Ten to Midnight. I enjoyed pretty much everything from the Hearth and Home line.
I’ll be very interested to see if Russ Ouellette starts any new projects.
Well you could ask @JimInks …he had a hand in having Sutliff reprise the last iteration when they discontinued it previous some years back. It wouldn’t surprise me if he’d already be on it in some fashion.Edward G Robinson. I can name a hundred other blends that i'll miss, but that one was a very special aromatic. I really, really hope it comes back. If not, I hope someone makes a close enough replica that can satisfy the gap it left.
I was about to write this exact thing.Sutliff Match Victorian bulk.
MacBaren HH Pure Virginia tin.
I meant Sutliff of course.Actually there’s a few goopers left on SP.com right now, bulk.
Our Scandinavian overlords didn’t kill the entire Sutliff brand — just the good blends. Crème Brûlée, Vanilla Custard, etc. will stick aroundActually there’s a few goopers left on SP.com right now, bulk.
