I've noticed that the last time TobaccoReviews.Com updated their "What's New" section was 4 days ago. Anyone else noticed this? Usually they update at least twice a day.

Was just about to post the same thing. Never seen 4 or more days go by without a single review.
I've used "contact us" and asked them yesterday, but no answer at all
Is Jiminks ok? Does someone need to drive by and check on him?
I checked on this yesterday and got the following email from them:
“Yes, Boomer, our site hasn’t had an update in a few days - what a keen observer.
We’re sorry to say that, after a run of seven years, eight months, sixteen days, three hours, forty-eight minutes, and nine seconds, @jiminks finally fell asleep.
We expect him to wake back up in a few weeks and look forward to how the ‘Rip Van Winkle Effect’ will alter his opinions on some of his favorite blends resulting in a new record breaking run, albeit providing updates to older reviews vs. solely new ones.

So there you have it. Jim simply fell asleep. I just hope the seventeen pipes he had going when he finally dozed off didn’t set anything ablaze.
There's nobody running the site on a full time basis, and they have no interest in hiring someone to do that even for a wretchedly tiny amount. For now, the site is the ignored poor relation.

Traffic has declined at TR in the last few years. It started when old accounts became "Emeritis Account"s. People don't up vote reviews like they used to, and there's fewer reviews posted now then there used to be.

Does anyone ever read any of the reviews except for Jiminks? When I first got on this forum, I tried my hand at writing reviews, but after a few blends it’s like... Jim has already said it, so what the hell am I doing?

I have occasionally thought about crawling the site to make a database of all the reviews in case it goes down.
Someone needs to add it to the Wayback Machine before we lose it...
I'm on TR several times each day. I check the "What's New" section mostly, but I do look up blends I currently smoke or am interested in trying. It would be a disservice to our pipe smoking community for TR to go away, not only for us longtime pipe smokers, but more importantly for first time pipe smokers.

Used it more frequently years back when looking for new blends to try of various genres.
