Anybody know anything about the new GH blends for sale on SP?
Aniseed twist looks interesting.
I wonder what the flavoring is on Rich Dark Spring Dew.
There are others.

do you know if this Gawith blend relates to Gallaher's Rich Dark Honeydew at all? A match blend?
Sadly not. It may have originally been intended as such, but the constituent tobaccos aren't even the same, let alone the top note.

However, the G&H blend is pretty good in its own right. It's a little bit too sweet for me, and lacks the richness to balance it, but I still like it as a change of pace.

Not melon flavoured - honeydew means sweet and comes from the sticky sweet substance that some insects excrete, bit like nectar or actual honey. The type of melon was named after this substance (to give it a more amenable name commercially for the American market I believe many years ago).
Seeing as Laudisi is bringing back old blends like Rich Dark Honeydew, and introducing ropes they haven’t sold before, would you please tell them there is interest in Grasmere? I emailed them about it several months back, but the customer service team didn’t seem to understand that the blend was still produced and available to the US market.

If you like strong, unscented / uncased tobacco, GH& Co rules.

If you like flavored tobacco, give any and all of their cased stuff a test drive. "Floral" is not a categorical thing. I dislike all added flavors, except for the ones I LIKE. i.e. you can't know until you try them for yourself. Coniston Cut Plug, for example, is my #1 "change of pace" choice.

It was also called 'manna' in the old testament. That particular type is produced by a type of ant. Bedouins still gather it on the Sinai peninsula to this day. A type of manna candy is made from it. It must be collected before dawn, as the heat of the sun melts and evaporates it. In all respects it matches the biblical description of manna, for all you people going eeeewwww. It's quite tasty.

Wouldn't that be an interesting tobacco casing???

Many of the Biblical 'miracles' were naturally occuring events, it was the supernatural timing of them that was the miracle, or some other element.

Creosote bushes burst into flame on very hot days on a fairly regular basis, and so do eucalyptus transplanted from Australia to the hotter climate of California. People generally don't hear the voice of God coming from either one.
