I have a slightly larger leather bag that is the perfect size but doesn't have any pockets. This bag has 1 external and 1internal pocket. I'm now looking for a bag of the larger size but with pockets.

The "kit":

The cloth in the lower left corner is a sunglass microfiber cleaning/polishing bag and the case thingy is a sunglass case. Holds 2 Saviellis nicely:

Zips shut nicely:

All packed up:

The tobacco containers are plastic baby food jars that hold +/- 3 oz tobacco each.

All good for a night out or weekend trip!

Need my tamping tool, some fire, my pipe and some tobacco... anything else you guys think might be important?

Usually will also include a Clipper or a Bic (I prefer a Clipper since the shape is perfect for using as a tamper) but this is my go-to To-Go kit right now:

Like others have already mentioned, pipe cleaners/a small bit of a paper towel would come in handy too but I usually start and end my lunts at home so no need to bring those along.

I usually fill a pipe, put a lighter in my pocket and maybe a couple of pipe cleaners in the other pocket (most of them go through the wash and come out rusty). If I am going somewhere long enough to have a backpack or satchel then I will throw in a couple more pipes and put a couple of blends in ziplock bags, and add a pack of pipe cleaners. My truck always has spare lighters, pipe cleaners, a jar or two of something, and probably a cob.

To go? For a real trip, a dozen pipes, cleaners, enough tobacco for twice as long as I plan to be gone, pipe tool. Couple of butane refillable lighters, unless air travel, then one refillable and matches.

Otherwise, my car is always stocked with a few pipes and a half pound of tobacco and two butane lighters, extra matches.

If it's for the day, I carry two pipes, zippo lighter, pipe cleaners, pipe tamper and a small folding pipe stand in a Macbaren's pipe pouch with a Ball 8 oz elite glass wide mouth jar (low profile) makes it easy to carry with my pouch.

Ok, not a go-bag, but my everyday carry bag is a small rucksack from Duluth Pack, which holds 2 briars and 1 cob, a waterproof box of waterproof matches, a bic, a tamper, and usually 1 half ounce tins of a Virginia, a Balkan, an aromatic, and a random flake leftover tin. Oh, and a snickers candy bar or 2 for nic hits.

I have a military surplus bag-it has molly straps to attach it to my larger backpack-that I use as a pipe bag. My girlfriend calls it my “pipe purse.” If we’re going out for a few days, I’ve got a bag of cleaners, two or three jars of tobacco, a couple Bics, maybe a matchbook or three, and two pipes. Maybe a tamper, but usually I leave those at home because I loose them and, well, my fingertip gets the job done.

If I’m going fishing, I have a waterproof box that I stash my stuff in.

Today, I doubt you could get within 20 feet of any hospital considering what is going on with C19.... Public or private. And if a hospital is allowing smoking within their walls, it is not a hospital I want taking care of me. Let's just ignore all the patients with lung or heart disease, immunocompromised patients, asthmatic patients, chemo patients.... What a crock of bull!
Where did I write "within their walls"? Don't put words in my mouth, that's so disingenuous.

The courtyard is OUTSIDE fool. Only a complete and utter moron with "lung or blah blah blah patients" would sit next to a smoker.
It's a rather small hospital. Not many patients frequent the courtyard.

The courtyard is between two buildings where the staff can easily find patients and keep an eye on them.
It's a matter of keeping patients safe. Only heartless bureaucrats and mindless fools like yourself would force patients to stand on the streets to have a smoke.

Those with more than half a brain ask for clarification before jumping to conclusions and calling someone a liar.

I wanna get treated there!!!!
When my GP sends me off to hospital, it makes more sense that I go to the large public hospital 20klm down the road because the small local hospital is not as well equipped. [No MRI for e.g.]

That hospital sucks. The food sucks. The security guards suck [They're the ones who weren't accepted into the police academy - it's odd though; at times security has a zero tolerance to smoking while at other times they turn a blind eye. The cigarette smokers drop their butts on the ground which leads to complaints; they wont listen to me so I sit by myself in one of many hidey-holes I've found]

So I simply refuse to be admitted and demand to be sent to my local hospital.
When I need tests or to see a specialist that's not available at the local hospital, they take me for a 'day trip' in their patient transport.

I've been in the health system for over 20 years and learnt how to play the game years ago.
