Interestingly this vendor showed Pending status as of yesterday when the order was placed Sunday. When I called yesterday they said it had gone out Thursday morning UPS. Odd, I thought. Then upon getting home from work it was there on my doorstep from USPS. Go figure.

Members of the NASPC will recognize "Ralph from New Jersey", a frequent contributor to "The Pipe Collector". Ralph has just compiled his short stories into a very well organized (and formatted) book, "The Pipe Doctor". It is available on Amazon in paperback or for the Kindle. My Kindle version was only $4 and well worth that paltry amount. In all, there are 24 short stories. I've finished the first three and really enjoy Ralphs writing style and humor.

Two unexpected purchases today.
This GBD brass rondell tobacco pouch went unnoticed (and unbid) up to the closing time, so I bit. I haven't seen one with a brass rondell (they are usually stamped GBD)

This unsmoked James Upshall Bark was listed last week with a decent BIN but the pictures were awful. The guy relisted today with only slightly better pictures, but dropped the price so I bit.
