It seems like the aro crowd mainly wants a tobacco to be fruity, sweet, and easily accessible. If one blend goes away, there's another similar blend that will pop up to take it's place. But who knows, maybe Blood Red Moon is the exception to the rule.... let's wait and see if it goes supernova on the vintage tin market.

It would be remarkable if this ended up becoming a collectible, unobtanium sort of blend, both because it's just, you know, ok, and because there are somewhat convincing recipes out there for getting the same results by blending a couple of bulk blends.

It's not a bad tobacco. I have some on hand for the rare times when I'm in the mood for a cherry aro, but as my palate develops I am finding it to taste more and more artificial.

Got a tin or two in the cellar...have not tried it yet...
I am ordering McLintock Black Cherry just because I wanted one more "cherry" aromatic in case the urge hits me, or so that I have enough varieties if the plague strikes here.....

Have you guys tried GH Cherry Vanilla?
Yes, and it is an ok aromatic. But, if someone likes a true aromatic, they may not like it, and if someone doesn't like aromatics, they will hate it. Cherry is a flavor that I just can't get into in pipe tobacco. If it is too cherry-ish, it tastes like cough medicine to me, but I don't mind a hint of an artificial candy-like cherry.

Isn't BRM in this cherry candy taste catagory? I've had one that I really liked, but it was just a sample, so I can't remember which one it was. I didn't like it enough to actually buy it though.

to me the cherry has to be non-medicinal for sure.. also almond-nutty rather than too sweet or sharp.
I thought that GH Cherry Vanilla was pretty highly aromatic.

I used to hate all cherry tobaccos until I found a few worth their salt.
