I'll be enjoying a fine old GBD Virgin Apple filled with some 40 or so yr. old Mac Baren Va. #1.I cannot believe how well this blend held up in one of those 7 oz. screw top tins with a mylar bag and twist tie. It didn't require any re hydrating at all. I had figured on having to mix in a fresh 100 gr. tin for sure.
Happy New Year all.

Butera's Latakia Blend # 2 in a Peterson Flame Grain 1/4 bent.
Happy 2014 piping!
Edit: Just lit it up, and the most amazing series of smoke rings emanated from the bowl! Surely an omen of good things to come for 2014. ::
Mine was some Cornell and Diel Manhattan Afternoon in my Sav 320 Baronet Bruyere. This Manhattan afternoon really surprises me considering my luck with Cornell and Diehl Virginia blends.
I had some 4Noggins Prairie Wind from my Secret Santa (werdna) in a new-to-me post-trans Barling Regency bent billard. Pretty nice way to ring in the New Year.
