What's for Breakfast?

Weekend breakfast is usually a leisurely affair
Mixed grain toast, cheese, honey and a selection of spreads.
I am partial to marmalade and kaya (a coconut-egg spread you find all over SthEast Asia)
Washed down with a mug of stong milky chai (with dollops of condensed milk)

Also, funny timing -- I discovered only the other day that I love marmalade. It isn't much of a thing, here, but one of my daughters had been curious to try it, and so I tried some with her, and discovered that I'm a big fan.

Next time I'll take a photo. This morning I had a coffee with milk, strong coffee, with toast topped with a little olive oil and some honey. Other times I just have black coffee, other times hot black tea. I've cut out butter, I do it in phases, as it makes my cholesterol shoot up very quickly.

This morning I had the same breakfast as yesterday. A coffee with milk, loaded with freeze-dried coffee, with industrial sliced bread for toasting, with olive oil and honey. I feel sorry to see that toast so lonely on that big plate, but my breakfast depends on how much physical activity I do on that particular day, or not, hahahaha.

My wife made me a bagel sandwich with cream cheese, ham, and egg, and brought it to me at work (...which means my home-office upstairs).

Had some french toast this morning from the leftover sourdough my wife made. What a treat!

One pan breakfast. Curried hash brown and two eggs easy over. Been using 10" Lodge carbon steel pan for awhile. Awesome pan.
