What's for Breakfast, Frosted Flakes or Frosted Blackpool?

I haven't smoked Blackpool for what seems like years, but for some reason I decided to open the jar this morning and have a bowl. Much to my delight I saw that this eight year old Blackpool had developed some sparkling frosting! Picked up my old Yellow-Bole as it seemed appropriate for the occasion and loaded it up. Pretty nice breakfast with a cup of coffee.

I had several pounds of Blackpool in the cellar. Mine had frosted all over too. But, mine had such a strong mold smell, that I just dumped it. I wasn't taking any chances.

I don't know, but I can't help but wonder if the white flakes are sugar. If I had some I wouldn't hesitate to give it a try. Somehow I suspect it would be tasty.

I've had several Esoterica blends get this way, and I looked with a strong magnifier and they sparkle like crystal. I hope it doesn't turn into crystal meth!
