I'm gonna start selling a special breed of chickens raised by pipe smokers in shangrala. These chickens were isolated there for thousands of years but a pregnant one escaped. My great grandfather was gifted one for saving the life of a monk. They actually we're bred so the tail feathers could be used as pipe cleaners. The feathers are 4 foot long and 200* more absorbant than cotton. If you touched it to the stem it sucked out all moisture. The leg feathers had bristles on them to use for gunk. The urine the chicken produced would strip a bowl clean of any tar carbon or nicotine nicotine. The poo was used to coat the bowl for a perfectly formed cake after one smoke but you needed to use it saliva as a sweetener.Did I mention that as you clipped feathers to use they grow back almost instantly. This one pipe tool and you never have to buy any products to keep your pipe smoking great. It has been said if you use the chicken it makes every blend taste like your favorite, after a year of only using it in one pipe, amazing right.Think of the money you will save buy buying one.But I can only grow 7.5 a year so you better bid when they are ready. Its a vintage chicken of course they can live to be 90.So think about all the$ you will save.Bid on a vintage iwanutwstumoni chicken today.Did I mentione they are vintage

Re drooling down a stem, I can see that it might happen very occasionally. And I clench most of the time. Even when I am chipping or putting, and that means bending and looking down. Still no saliva down the stem.
So, sorta wonder if it's a thing for anyone other than a very new smoker- and even then I wonder.

If I'm clenching for a long time let's say packing soil in seedling trays and I move the stem with my tongue I will get a build up of moisture but that's rare.

smokingcricket...I want one of those chickens. Does it come with its own nest or do I have to provide a bed.

We take pipe cleaners for granted, so I never thought what if we didn't have them any longer. Interesting and inventive ways to keep the pipe clean .. I guess the feather one is the most outlandish, in order to smoke pipe having a chicken farm was a prerequisite  :puffy:

More importantly, what was used before toilet paper? Probably fresh corn cobs, but Rabelais recommended the neck of a goose. Hold the bill closed.

Cosmic, yes, single leaf Semois definitely has a barn and barnyard smell. Nonetheless, I love the stuff.
