A slight pepperiness on the retrohale is the only reason I may have to think there might be a dash of Perique in there. Certainly couldn't swear to it, though. Either way, a tobacco I like to smoke.

Yes Aldecaker cant argue with your statement, that is how I do feel also, a good basic quality stuff ain't it?,Although if I smoke OGS only and always, say during a month I'm feeling it getting a bit bald, and then getting on my nerves, rotating between 2-3 various bleds at a time,do I find more satisfactory and interesting,

I don't think there's perique in OGS, but it's still very good Virginia for the price. I find it comparable to Dunhill, being sweet and relatively dry, requiring little air time for an enjoyable smoke. Gawith and Peterson flakes I've found to be comparably wet.

It's a well-priced, tasty blend. Don't much care what's in it.
Amen to that. It's one of my favorite blends ... might even be #1.
Interesting that the article Mr. Mikkelson says:
In the future Perique will be included in the description of Red Orlik.
But none of the tins I have on hand mention perique at all. They just say Virginia. The article is 5 years old, so maybe they removed the perique ... or decided that it never actually existed ... or decided that it didn't matter.

I am smoking out of a 100g tin with a 2014 date code right now, and it only mentions Va. The last tin was a 50g tin coded 2015, and it claims to have Va and "perigue". I noticed no difference in flavor between the two. ???
