When I first smoked VAs, all I tasted was soot and hot air. For whatever reason, they just take some getting used to. But since you like burley, you could mix in a pinch of Haunted Bookshop -- you'll end up with a sweeter, more tangy smoke than Haunted Bookshop gives on its own, but it might help acclimate you to the straight VAs and Vapers. HB, by the way, has some Virginia and Perique in it, so it shouldn't clash with the Bullseye.
