I'll assure you that if you order "Canadian Bacon" on a pizza, you're getting ham.

Back bacon. Really, really good stuff. To get Canadian Bacon in England or Canada one would ask for "back" bacon. Or, "Irish Bacon". I guess one could order "Irish Bacon" in Canada and still not get Canadian Bacon, you would get back bacon which shouldn't, more confusion, be called rashers unless you want rashers. Then, by all means, when in Canada ask for rashers and you'll get Canadian bacon which will bear absolutely no similarity to Canadian Bacon.
