For under 40 bucks i bought it, no plans on returning it.
So, as a completely new guy with no history of collecting I’m just over here wondering what kind of input your looking for?

To this untrained eye it looks like a pretty generic bent pipe that may or may not smoke amazingly that’s got a couple spots somebody hacked out and tried to make look cool with a torch.

The only person that’s gotta like it is you…

I like random rustication, because for me it adds to the uniqueness of a pipe. It's more one of a kind. I mean, all pipes are unique one from another for the most part, but this just adds some odd character to a pipe. It's going to be subjective for sure, but it's your pipe, if you like it that's all that's needed. You could go for something VERY spot rusticated like this E.Oslo, which was a sub line of pipes by American carver Micoli. Not everybody's cup of tea for sure, but if you've seen his main line of pipes you can see how this is rather mild. I have found it comfortable to hold and it smokes very well. I think there is another example of one of these on SPC's American estate pipes right now! Getcha one!
