I'd bring back Burlington Arcade, Harry S Tint and Sons, Philadelphia, because it was a fine blend with Perique and Latakia, and was the first good tobacco I cottoned to. Believe it was discontinued over 30 years ago.

All I could find online was this match book cover for sale. Sob.

Bringing back something from the dead is the most thankless task you could ever engage in and I can fully understand why our good lord only ever resurrected Lazarus!
It’s easy for me to say, but I’m impressed and thankful you all gave it a go. I guess it’s true what they say about no good deed going unpunished.

As for three blends from the economies of the past that I’d like to have time-warped into my local brick and mortar:

1. Condor (edit: the old one!)
2. Sullivan and Powell’s Gentleman’s Mixture
3. Gallagher Rich Dark Honey Dew

Never tried them and probably never will, but they sound like something I’d like. 🤷‍♀️

Assuming that the leaf and processing could be replicated and that the resulting blends would be indistinguishable from the originals here are my picks:

State Express London Mixture
Elephant and Castle Deerstalker
A & C Petersen Escudo (and cremate the entire supply of that STG crap)
Ogden's St Bruno
Sobranie 759
Gallaher Rich Dark Honeydew

Byzantium is English with Perique for something possibly similar. It’s one of my go to blends when in the rare mood for Latakia.

GLP Renaissance, Edgeworth Sliced, and St. Bruno (as it was in the 80s). These are just what comes to mind this instant. I would probably come up with something different if I took some time to think it over.

I would be happy seeing Prince Albert and Carter Hall in pouches again. I was one of the last to start smoking a pipe by burning through a pouch of CH in a cob. I miss those little pouches, and being able to recommend PA and CH to other new smokers.

I'll say McClellan as well. I missed out on them. I wonder what the hype is, but not enough to spend $150/tin.

I would wish to bring back not just a blend but an entire category that seems to be under-represented: straight, strong, untoasted, un-cavendished, un-cased burleys, with toppings and not. Right now, to my knowledge, this category is represented by only 3 tobaccos: Five Brothers, C&D Dark Burley, and C&D white burley. The last two (especially the very last) are sold as blenders. I might also put Crooner into this category, as it is a strong straight burley flavored with deer tongue.

To be specific, I would like see the strong OTC tobaccos that I have read (somewhere, long ago) used to compete with Five Brothers.

I would like to see lots more strong straight burley ropes and plugs. The only one I know about is Cotton Boll twist.

I would also like to see more of the old style continental pipe tobaccos--strong air cured stuff like Caporal. Right now the only one I know about readily available in the U.S. is the boutique-ish semois

2) Drew Estate Gatsby Luxury Flake
3) Orlik Racing Green

Not long lost, just...lost.
I and both of my sons were fans of the Drew Estate pipe tobacco blends until we couldn't buy them. I liked Grand Central and one of my sons liked Central Park Stroll. The other son couldn't get enough of Meat Pie.
