I lost a sandblasted older Stanwell horn that I was gifted. :crying: It was a dark espresso color with an oval stem. Silver banding on the stem and the Stanwell logo was also silver. I loved that pipe and it was a tremendous smoker. I've been looking for it for almost two years, so I'll probably never find it. If anyone knows where I can find one, or has one they're willing to part with let me know!

I'd buy a Tsuge again and I'm always keeping an eye out for the older English "seconds" like Savory's or Guildhalls and Everymans. I've become fond of my Kaywoodie, too, stingers and all.

I pretty much end up buying mainly vintage Comoys. Like Royals, Old Bruyeres, Traditions, Grand Slams, Blue Ribands, London Pride, Extraordinaires, and Specimen Straight Grains. With three part C stem logos. And decent nomenclature. I've got about 40 of them now. All estates I've brought back to life. Not a bum smoke among them. Something about old wood, grain, differential staining, and the thin vulcanite mouthpieces that keeps me returning to brand Comoy.

I noticed bigvan named artisan pipe makers in his list, including Ryan Alden (lonestar). I would definitely buy another Alden pipe. Looks are always subjective, but Ryan makes a great smoking pipe with a thin, comfortable stem and a nice, easy draft. I almost got mine to gurgle once. Almost. He's doing something right, whatever it is.

Pretty much everything remaining in my collection are pipes I'd purchase again (mainly Castello and Bonfiglioli), so I'll stick with pipes I once owned and sold, and would likely snap up in a heartbeat should I see them in the wild again.
-P Grade Upshall apple with saddle stem - it was an Escudo machine and I got rid of it because I wanted to focus on Italians.

-A 5" GRC sandblast lovat - what I was thinking getting rid of this one I do not know. Great with straight VAs.
I'm certain there's more but those two stick out a lot. There was a Greatline Canadian I sold that I would have hung on to knowing now what I got for it on eBay.
