It seems like more and more pipe makers are using Instagram to showcase and sell their new pipes. Any suggestions who to follow? Right now I only follow Taurus Auctions and yiannos_kokkinos. Thx.

added- after a recommendation I followed another pipe maker, smokinbarrelbriars. Absolutely incredible pipes.

I follow a bunch of carvers ranging from meerschaum carvers to well know briar pipe makers to lesser-known pipe makers that make pipes as a hobby. I always enjoy seeing the different pipes these individuals come up with.

The carvers that I do enjoy, I'm on a first name basis with. They'll often send me photos of pipes they are working on or I'll call them with a commission idea.

Instagram? What's that, a new weight loss program?

Came from Instantaneous Grammphone.

It means you don't have to use Morse code anymore.

You need to get with it, old timer.

(No more Pony Express either... they went belly up a coupla years ago, too, best I can remember.)

I have been using Instagram more often these days. I quit facebook over a decade ago, and havent looked back. But I only follow I think two Meerschaum pipe makers on there.

I have an instagram account only because a few pipe-makers who I was interested in were showing great photos of their pipes there: gpenzopipe, Doug Finlay and Todd Bannard.
