We had a night of David Gilmour. His movie was shown only this evening in theaters for the concert at Pompei. We're fortunate to have a theater here in nearby VA that shows these kind of movies (we saw the Ron Howard Beatles documentary there).
"The Sound of Silence" - Disturbed........their interpretation is better than the original song IMO. This version blows me away, sends shivers down my spine every time I hear it. Simon and Garfunkel wrote a hell of a song but Disturbed's sound gives it an extra 10 layers of feel and emotion. Lyrically its even more relevant today than it was when originally recorded. A very personal song for me which warrants that extra notch or two on the volume dial anytime I hear it.
