In remembrance of Hugh Hefner, and of the 100th. anniversary of Ella Fitzgerald, here's a live performance by Ella on Playboy's Penthouse Party in 1959

Thanks for tipping me off to this thread last Saturday at CPCC, Dino. Great stuff! The marimba cover of Crazy Train DID make me smile. The Marsalis-Clapton "Layla” video is unbelievable. It's so much more soulful than the original and I really enjoyed Eric's comments about jazz. Thanks!
In honor of my last full day of employment, retiring after 31+ years with the same company.

I've been listening to KoRn's newest album "The Serenity of Suffering" pretty much non-stop since it was released in October of last year. It hasn't left my daily rotation. It's a great album. A definite return to their more hardcore roots. I've been a KoRn fan since 1994 and I was thoroughly pleased with the new album. Definitely worth a listen if you're into that kind of music.
Currently listening to Slayer ~ Decade Of Agression, I saw them live around the time this was released, 92’ I think. So this album always brings me right back to the mosh pit.
