Didn't realize there was an official video for this one. Early John Lydon. PIL - public image.

barleycorn- you are most welcome. I actually have to thank GWAR, because had I not watched THIS video on a lark I would not have seen Screaming Females. CAUTION: This is GWAR covering Kansas, "Carry On My Wayward Son"; Comforting the disturbed and disturbing the comfortable. It's actually decent.

Today, I've been listening to KoRn's first album. In preparation for their upcoming tour in my neck of the woods.

Say what you will, this was a talent of great magnitude. Some say the widest vocal range of all.

He'd be 70 today. I arrived to appreciation late in life due to an inherent social stereotype of words and concepts rooted in homophobia. Fear of the queer, or any association with it for fear of ridicule, rejection, or accusation.

I confess that these fears persist. Anyway...

Here's a bunch of short clips from the catalog of Freddy Mercury.

Chumbawamba - Tubthumping

Great song until the local media kept using that after a Denver Broncos Super Bowl victory. Still a great song though

the kids are around, so I have on a "kid-friendly mix" right now. Ramones - "Spiderman" just finished and They Might be Giants "Istanbul" is playing now
